Escape to Central Park!
Mighty lucky to get this day off!
About three o’clock we left the house,
Ready in our layers, boots, gloves and hats,
Crossing the street was a puddle-jumping adventure.
Used the sled once we got to Park Avenue. The fun has begun!
Snow makes everything quiet, and Central Park whispered to us - please come in.
Just look at the trees, the flakes, the ground.
Our feet made new tracks across the fields - we are first to step here.
Our hands scooped up the snow, packed it, then rolled it into a super-snowman.
Now it is snowing even harder!
Until next time, thank you mother earth.
Time to go warm up...
Walking up our street towards the Park.
Looking closely at some snowflakes.
Gathering up a load.
The beautiful landscape
It is Spring after all, there is some flowering out there.
Walking by The Boathouse with all the rowboats tied up along The Pond’s edge.
Ready to climb the stairs of the Bethesda Terrace.
The perfect snow for oversized abstract snowmen.
Time for home
